Energy efficient appliances

Once we have our homes set up efficiently the next step is to make sure we are using the most efficient appliances in our homes or are ready to upgrade when the time comes.

Why Electric?

Did you know that gas cookers and un-flued gas heaters are a leading cause of childhood asthma and other respiratory complaints? Gas is also less cost effective than efficient electric appliances such as induction cooktops and reverse cycle air conditioners (which cool and heat).

In fact, Victoria and the ACT have announced bans on new gas connections to homes. Gas is on the way out, leaving gas companies saddled with fixed network costs they need to share amongst fewer customers. So gas prices are likely to rise over time.

When you need to replace gas appliances - you may like to consider switching to electric.

Upgrading to energy efficient appliances could save you money, increase the value of your home and keep you and your guest healthier.
