Buy a set of containers and add these to your listing.

Find out if food waste is collected by your council or set up your own compost bin on site.
Add a compost bin in your listing.
Clearly list what foods can and can not be composted.
Clearly state where and when to dispose of compost.

“You are welcome to compost the following food scraps: veges, fruit, bread, egg shells. When full please tie up the bag lining the bin and add this to the black clearly marked compost bin in the garden.”

Research who will collect unopened/unused food in your area, eg food bank, community group, facebook page, or use the Oli app to match with others in your area.

Clearly let guests know what options they have to get food collected - choose the most appropriate option below for your listing.
“Before you leave if you have any unopened/unused food please do not throw this out.A) You can keep it out of landfill by contacting (insert contact details) a local group who will collect the food.”
